Casting your phone to a TV allows you to display your phone’s screen on a larger display. Here are common methods to do this:
1. Using Chromecast (Android and iOS)
- Step 1: Connect both your phone and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Step 2: Open the Google Home app on your phone.
- Step 3: Tap Cast screen from the app's menu.
- Step 4: Select your TV or Chromecast device to start casting.
2. Using Apple AirPlay (iOS)
- Step 1: Ensure both your iPhone and TV (or Apple TV) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Step 2: Swipe down from the upper right corner of your iPhone to access the Control Center.
- Step 3: Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Step 4: Select your TV or Apple TV from the list to start casting.
3. Using Smart View (Samsung Phones)
- Step 1: Swipe down from the top of your Samsung phone to open the Quick Settings panel.
- Step 2: Tap Smart View.
- Step 3: Select your TV from the list to start casting.
4. Using an HDMI Adapter (Android and iOS)
- Step 1: Get a compatible HDMI adapter for your phone.
- Step 2: Connect your phone to the TV via the HDMI adapter.
- Step 3: Switch your TV to the correct HDMI input to display your phone screen.
5. Using Miracast (Android)
- Step 1: Make sure your TV supports Miracast or connect a Miracast dongle.
- Step 2: On your phone, go to Settings > Display > Cast or Wireless Display.
